In Management Concepts, Theories, and Practice I learned about planning, organizing, human resource management, leadership, motivation, groups, communication and controlling within a business environment. I had the opportunity to run a simulation business to practice what we had learned about planning for the business environment, choosing strategies for business, and how to compare with competitors in the market. This course encouraged me to use tools like SWOT analysis and vision and mission setting within my organizations. I learned so much about how to use theories in order to work through conflicts and solve problems in an organization setting.
